What Our Intervention Looks Like
At the Center for Reading and Dyslexia, intervention is more than tutoring. Instruction is intentionally designed to identify skill gaps, provide targeted teaching, and build the skills students need to become stronger, more confident readers.
Individualized Instruction
Explicit & Systematic Instruction
Instruction is based on each student’s assessed needs and specific skill gaps.
Skills are taught directly in a carefully sequenced progression, with guided practice and review.
Ongoing Progress Monitoring
Student progress is monitored regularly so instruction can be adjusted as skills develop.

Instruction is grounded in the science of reading and evidence-based practices for developing skilled readers.
